Operation School Bell National Award Recipient Marcus Primer
The Assistance League of Montgomery County presented our very own Marcus Primer with the “Operation School Bell National Award” at their annual meeting and brunch on Monday, May 16th. CISETX and the Assistance League of Montgomery partners together to ensure the needs of the students in our community are being met. The goal of Operation School Bell is to help children succeed in school by providing new school clothing; health assistance, including hearing, vision and/or dental care; and literacy, cultural and higher educational enrichment. Areas across the US were able to nominate an individual from affiliate organizations of the Assistance League. Marcus was chosen over 120 other nominees for this prestigious award.
Words from Marcus’ supervisor Trezlyn Lamb:
“Marcus is very deserving of this award. He is the first to arrive and the last to leave each day. He is constantly working for his students on and off the clock. Marcus exemplifies a true example of what a site coordinator should be!”
