Amanda Fritter, October 2026 Employee Spotlight - Site Coordinator
We are proud to recognize Amanda Fritter, who joined Communities in Schools in January 2026 and took on the challenge of rebuilding the CIS program at Whitehouse High School in a district new to CIS. Despite the challenges of starting midyear, Amanda persevered, finished the school year strong, and continues to make a tremendous impact!
One of Amanda’s greatest accomplishments is establishing a Cares Closet that provides clothing, hygiene products, food, and school supplies to students in need. Through meaningful partnerships with campus staff and community organizations, she ensures these essential resources remain available.
Amanda exemplifies the CIS Five Basics by building caring relationships, creating a safe and supportive environment, addressing student's basic needs, connecting students with college and career opportunities, and encouraging community service.
Amanda, thank you for picking up the pieces, overcoming challenges, and representing Communities In Schools so well! Your dedication to students and your campus is truly inspiring!
